Mentorship Program
Our virtual mentorship program matches a younger musician with an older mentor who has the experience to guide them along their musical journey. The mentors of the Mentorship program are experienced, high school/college musicians. Under the program, the mentor provides ongoing assistance tailored to each student in a one-on-one setting. This can include help with instrument technique and tips on performances and auditions. The student gets to decide how often they would like to work with the mentor! All of our mentors are also focused on extending their student’s interest in music, hoping to nurture a lifetime love for music.
Mentoring offered but not limited to:
One-on-one lessons to work on technique and musicianship
Tips on how to practice effectively and stay motivated
Tips and personal experience on performing and building confidence
Audition preparation
How to prepare
What is expected
Auditioning techniques, lessons learned, and pitfalls
Information on music opportunities and other programs in the area
If interested, possible assistance in finding a private teacher
