Isabella Andrews attends Charleston County School of the Arts in Charleston, South Carolina. She has been playing since the 5th grade, where she started under the direction of Ms. Margaret Selby. After encouragement from her teacher, she auditioned for the School of the Arts and became part of the award-winning orchestras under the direction of Dr. Christopher Selby. She is currently part of their highest-ranked strings group, the Sinfonietta, and a part of their national-award winning and only in-state public school symphony orchestra. Isabella has participated in the SC Region IV Orchestra Festivals since the 8th grade and recently attended the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic as part of the Charleston School of the Arts Symphony Strings in December 2019. She currently studies privately under Charleston Symphony Orchestra member Tomas Jakubek.

Since Isabella goes to an artistically minded school, she is able to focus on music during her school day in her art major, strings. She was able to help her orchestra fundraise a total of approximately $30,000 dollars this past year. Her school also provides programs catered toward visual arts, band, piano, dance, creative writing, and theatre. While not in school, she enjoys going to the beach and shopping with friends and intends to pursue a career in STEM while maintaining her love for music.
